• Hey Guest💡👉 We have just launched our new Dealer Directory and review service Find out more now
could be rebuilt although doesnt say anything about it in the advert...in any chance the new owner may end up on here anyway...

i was wondering about this,

i have recently bought a ew engine for my 1.4 , its only has 26,000 miles on it and it came with full service history up to the 26k,

my question is when i fit this engine should i take my clock back from 76,000 to 26,000

or would i be doing the wrong thing,

if i ever sold the car i would be honest about the engine being changed as i see this as a good selling point,

just keep the info for future prospects as its the car itself the mileage retains too

i stripped rebuilt and replaced as good as everything in my engine so if that was the case would you believe me if i sold you a 10k miler mk2 ?

yeh i see wot ur saying,

i am putting in some cupra clocks along with cupra wheels and interior so im going to have to match the mileage on the new clocks to my current mileage , i just wasnt sure wether to put it to the same mileage as my old clocks or the new engine,

i guess the honest thing to do would be to match it to my current clocks

Heard abotu this from Photek at the weekend, was my old car, I sold to him.. even that was around the 72k miles...

Shaem people do this! I even made sure it had FULL service history... so no doubt thats "got lost"...
