As it say's above.

I wandered if the Golf mark IV arms would fit or Fabia or even the A3.

Also has anyone fitted them yet? Ive got the aero blades but want the proper arms and blades to fit.

Thanks ahead.

Don't know about A3 or TT blades, but a lot of people have the Mk4 Golf aero wipers fitted (arms & blades).

They seem to have come down in price too... the set was around £80 when I was looking last year, so I got the Valeo blades that fit on the standard arms instead, only £20.

Just looked at a few sites and the Mk4 aero's are around £60 - £65 now :)

Sure someone mentioned that Renault ones fit, easier and cheaper just to get the blades as taking those arms off is a pain in the coont!
Full arms and blades of a MKV golf for looks tho!

Ive got MkIV golf blades and arms on my LCR and they fit fine, passenger arm may need mounting a bit higher to prevent the blade hitting the edge of the windscreen but otherwise perfect fit!

yep, same as above, i've got golf MkIV arms and blades on my lcr; getting the oem arms off was a PITA - lots of penetrating oil and a good wiggle soon sorted that out. I have trimmed about 2 inches off the passenge blade to stop it catching the edge of the windscreen.

yep, you can hacksaw about 2 inches off and then superglue the end back on and its look good as new:)

They look a lot neater than my Valeo retro fit jobbies! :)

I take it you've trimmed the end off the passenger side one as it's not sitting up as high as some I've seen?

I've got the VW conversion kit on mine. Aero wiper blades from VW but that fit cars with normal hook style arms. work pretty well too. (they were designed for older models of VW originally)

re: overlapping wiper blade & cutting etc...

wiperblades.co.uk have the mk4 golf flat blade standards at drivers 21" and passenger 19".
opting for those blades with the golf mk4 arms should mean there is no cutting involved... *i think*

i'll give that guide a go soon... if i feel brave enough.. thanks Pabs!

Yep, about 2 inches trimmed off, and then the tip is superglued back on.
