what cable/software do i need to change mileage on ibiza 1998

hi yes i was able to read the immobilizer but not the mileages

silly isnt it that they say you CAN do it but clearly from everyone try, including myself it not possible to change the mileage BUT if seat can do it there must be a way

using the correct software and the correct cable/equipment works fine

Vagtacho does work on both counts but 'only' if you use their own cable and software legit

90% of the ripped off ones are junk

i bought a set gti clocks but the mileage is way higher than my originals, i bought the vag tacho software and an obd 2 cable to change the mileage but...

my comp just wont recognise the car :S im not sure what im doing wrong...

anything you can suggest flapper?

did you get them both from the same place ?

not all the cables work the same way you see

We spent hours with Vag-Tacho on my Mk2 (to code keys) - just couldn't get it to communicate properly with the ecu..........
