What can i use to tie my vacuum hoses on with?

Ian had a spare bit that was just the right size

My vac hoses arent tied on with anything, after all they are 'vacuum' hoses, they hold them selves on.

I dunno, the standard ones seem more brittle than after market ones, which seem alot more rubbery and flexible. Maybe the standard ones arnt quite as grippy. Whatever the reason mine have been like this for around 6 months running peak 1.5bar boost and i've never had a problem with them.

I did originally start using cable ties but they soon went missing due to heat or me banging around in the engine bay knocking them off.

I can't see any harm in using the supplied clips TBH.
