Good afternoon everyone! I am thinking about painting my calipers but dont know what colour to go for? Later in the year i should have some new wheels, i like the RS4 replicas or maybe something with about 10 spokes? Anyway i think it would look good with painted calipers but what colour? My car is Azalia red so what colour shall i go for? Im thinking silver or even gold

Any ideas would be appreciated[B)]

Well i dont want to chav it up really. Not sure about red on a red car, Like the idea of black!! Thanks

Red all the way!

Although don't get a Brembo sticker unless you've actually got Brembos (cos otherwise it's pretty naff IMO). You can get some nice SEAT decals from eBay though.

If you do a search for 'brake calipers' you should find a few threads with pics, including one with a few of mine!

Do red and get hammerite stuff, i brought some savage caliper paint and it came out pink!!!

I'm not sure red calipers would go with the Azalea red bodywork, am I right in thinking its a slightly pinker metallic shade? If so that would clash horribly IMHO! Black or silver I think, I was thinking red for my car, but I'd like a bit of a contrast

Whatever colour you go for, avoid the calliper paint at all costs and get Hammerite. The colour and longevity of it is much better :)

I am going insane or does the green on the Skoda VRs's look nice?

I think they look mint...

Yeah im really not sure about red calipers and azalia red??? Im thinking black now. Maybe im best to try out a few colours on each caliper first? Thanks for advice everyone!

try black with white brembo logo!
abit hard to tell on mulitspoke alloys!
ive got red on mines but the alloys make it hard to see

What hammerite works, just the normal stuff for gates and things, or do they do a high temp one?

I'd be interested to see how black calipers look, if anyone's got a pic?? Are they very noticable?
I reckon the green Skoda ones looked good on a black Skoda, but wouldn't on a Leon!

Black callipers wont stand out at all... but when you look closely they will look very clean and subtle. Nice look, if you don't want your brakes to stand out at all.

I painted mine silver with Halfrauds brake caliper paint, works brillantly and had no peeling problems, a squirt of brake cleaner from time to time gets rid of any brake dust etc.

I then added black 'SEAT' decals available from ebay.

Look pretty smart!!

I think i am going for black as i dont want it to look like something its not, (if you know what i mean?) Anyway new wheels first then i will get the paint out! Thanks everyone for the help.
