Yer i'll take some pictures tomorrow when the weathers better...

I'm also toying with the idea of fitting an Linea R front grill, I've been offered a 2nd hand one posted for £50.00, is this a good deal????????????

Buy it mate, you won't get it cheaper than that, they are £100 new

Purchased a Ramair filter, alloy pipe, silicone hoses, stainless steel clips and some aluminium rod to make my own induction kit just like Jake on the forum has done!

Been looking at using something called Plasti Dip have ago at painting the whole car matte black or white. Then if I don't like it you can peel it straight off.

Has anyone else tried using it?

It just looks like it's been wrapped.

Might test it on another car, take it to my dad's booth and have ago, see if you can really peel it off without it effecting the bodywork underneath?

Did you think the Cupra R that Scott had to test drive looked good in matte black?

There you go photos, 10mm hub centric spacers up front and 15mm hub centric spacers @ the rear... Final E.T @ the front 41, final E.T @ the rear 36....The cars fitted with Eibach sportline springs.......

Total fool question here but....why spacers?
Is it to improve handling by widening the wheel base?

To be honest after i'd had the car lowered the alloys looked a little lost in the arches so i've just tryed to sort the stance out....

Looks good. Even with 5mm front it makes a diffrence, I don't think I would go anymore on the standard ride height, but I think you will agree it does look better at the rear, 12mm and 15mm

It peels fine app just the finish looks more textured then smooth like wrap.

Must admit I was tempted to but then realised it was pretty impractical.

I've seen a passat cc local to me which has been finished in a matte brown plasti coat and that looks really good, like vinyl wrap to be fair. He had it professionally done for around £400 I believe

Peeled off my Leon badge on the boot lid, it was a right pain trying to get the sticky stuff off after.

In good light you can still see the out line of the leon badge, i attacked it Autogylm paint renivator to and its still left some of the out line, what the hell do they stick them badges on with???

Im still undecided whether to purchase the Linear R front grill i've been offered, £50.00 for a front grill mite be a bit much to outlay @ z mo. Im getting the leon mot'd tomoz before the new Dpf rules come into effect in Feb, fingers crossed it passes the emissions test....
