I paid for it to be painted dude, I don't know if you've seen my RR thread but when I got my car the rear box had taken a little knock and melted all the diffuser so I had to buy a new one, got them to paint it gloss at the same time.

Cost me £100 from memory to do the valance and the diffuser.

Had the R in for a full service today. Runs much nicer and doesn't sound like a bag of spanners when starting up anymore.
They stripped the brakes and cleaned them as well. Much better pedal feel now. Not bad for 138 quid all in

What did a full service include ?

- Checked the sparks (didn't need replacing)
- Oil filter
- Oil
- Air filter
- screen wash fill
- Fuel filter was recently changed in mine so not replaced
- Strip all brakes, clean, re-lubricate and replace.
- Overall check-up

Just ordered 4 Goodyear Eagle F1's for the K1, fair whack of pennies, but heard nothing but good things on here, so gonna give them a try! Plus think I got a pretty good deal on them from Camskill as you guys recommended few posts back :D

Thanks chaps! Let you know how I get on.

I put them on the Cupra tail end of the last year, and they've lasted well, and are very grippy and perform well in the wet! No stutter off the line when nailing it!

Excellent! Glad to hear you guys giving good reviews aswell, seem to be a spot on all rounder...are they lasting quite a while then? wearing well?

Hopefully made a good choice then and I don't think £90 each was a bad deal!

Cheers chaps!

Definitely not a bad deal, mine should be delivered tomorrow and I'll hopefully get them fitted at the weekend, not good running around on the space saver :-(

Getting the back end de-badged on friday. Also got myself a nice big lump of clay bar, did one of the front quarters as a test at work tonight and i'm impressed with the results takes a bit of time mind you but it leaves a baby's ass finish.

Ah cool mate, did seem like a very good offer they were doing! Should have mine here from them by Friday. Can see how the big yellow band could stand out!!

Debadged rear end should look good, I considered doing mine, but quite like the cupra and k1 badge, especially the way cupra is spaced out...different to most cars.

Clay bar's are awesome, like you said, leave an awesome finish!

Weeheeeey! Cant beat abit of wee tube cleaning! Looks awesome lol.

I'm hearing peoplepeople going on about a Clay Bar? What is it and what one is recommended? Also how do I go about using it? I'm a bit useless when it comes to cleaning products haha
