What money would it be to get all that done?i think if I get in around 380 bhp I would be happy for a wile but I would definately consider goin down the big turbo route in a year or so if possible.does any one know wat power the standard clutch and flywheel can cope with?iv tried the search button but finding it hard to get info.

As some of you may know I work in the motor trade and have helped a few people out with cheaper services and cheaper parts however I'm sure big eck will disagree lol

I recently went for a service with one of the two seat sites within group and asked the service manager who i know if he would do a discounted price on the fixed service prices or cambelt changes ect for people on the forums that I am on.

After a few discussions I tried to say that a lot of people go to Indy's because of the higher price the dealers charge (decided not to mention the workmanship at this point) and if he charged a cheaper price and you lot booked it through me if could bring in a fair bit of business which could relate to car sales aswell down the line.

He said he would think about It and get back to me with an email.....

"I am always looking for opportunities to add new business and I am sure we can help your friends on the owners club sites but this would have to fall in to line with the current 'its fixed offer' depending on the work I'm sure we would be able to offer a further discount if extra work is undertaken and be competitive with the independent garages you mention.

I would say tell them to give us a ring and we will see what we can do on a case by case, don't forget the current services @ £139 and £259 are quite competitive already and when you take in to consideration genuine parts"

I know a lot of you will still not be interested which I can totally see why especially if you are highly modified and only want your mechanic who work on but for those who maybe are still in warranty or those who are just out and still want the stamp if you speak to Debra (service advisor) or David Hawksworth (service manager) and say your on the Seat forum and know me they might give you a discount and help you out a little bit.

Oh btw the site is Seat in Sheffield.

Just spent 3 hours cleaning and washing the inside and outside of the car. Good as new :)

Nothing special just installed a VW racing panel filter to replace the old clogged paper crud.

Would like a remap but new brake pads and tyres and some NGK 7s'are needed so they must come first.

I'd advise the new brake pads before a remap too ;)
