What did you and your MK2 do today?

I have had some hairy moments in mine but I have nothing less than upmost confidence in my Leon's cornering. Maybe it is the lighter front or maybe it comes down to tyres, but I have never been wanting for lateral grip. Traction on the hand..... That has been easy to overcome haha

Has anyone ever removed the plastic from the top of the gear knob? Want to spray it to match my dash.
Does anyone know if it's glued or clips?

To add on to my Matt black interior plastics, I sprayed the air vent surrounds to match.
Absolute pain to remove. They have 4 clips holding them in. But they are two at the top (11 o'clock and 2 o'clock) and two lower ones about (4 o'clock and 8 o'clock).

Here are the results

And one of my steering wheel insert.

The air vent surrounds? A very small flat head screwdriver.

See on the below pic. The clips the top two are closer together than the bottom. Just slide the screwdriver down the side and flick the clip up and gently pull. Do one side at a time.

Today i changed my camfollower, pcv-valve and mounted my sweet turbo/manifold Heatshield from CTS Turbo. Feels like a must have when i mount my induction kit..
