Ahh well ots worth a shot yourself and if it doesn't work out at least its not as expensive as getting them all done again, it sucks but it could be worse :) where I live there are SO MANY pot holes, I literally have to swerve all over the road just to avoid them, I must look like im drink driving or something! Haha. So im really worried about curbing mine :(

Just full on scuffed one of my wheels, feel like crying.

Feel your pain mate. Just had the R's refurbed due to a combo of crap roads, crap drivers and GF's park by feel....:censored:
There was a mahoosive pothole on the A428 going towards M1 from Duston other day, hit it in Passat and thought the bloody wheel had fell off!

Duston's near me, some proper bad potholes between there and Nobottle, council need to sort themselves out. This was on like the only bit of curb on the road I was on, wasn't left enough room.

I work for a company in Duston, on Lodge Farm. I'll keep an eye out when I'm down there!

All roads are shocking these days. You do have to swerve all over to miss all the potholes. Makes you wonder why we pay road tax to drive on roads that probably cause more damage to the cars.

Changed spark plugs last night to NGK iridium. Going to change coil packs to red ones.. Cylinder 4 cp was rusty at the bottom.

When I put my heaters on in the car. The front drivers side fan by the radiator runs constantly even from cold. Occasionally it doesn't but more often than not. I'm thinking stat/sensor somewhere faulty. Anyone got any ideas? The noise is driving me mad, sounds horrible when your sat in traffic

Is this about the blue pipe dingbell?
The difference is that yours is not a Cupra(R) and the bottom one is. Cupra has the diverter valve relocated to the front.

Hi thanks for reply , yes it's the blue pipe I was wondering about , I'm still sussing out the car lol would you have any idea why the pcv delete kit would be stopping my car running ?

I (we) finally got home to the Netherlands after a 2200 km road trip in the UK on family business ... the little 1.2 TSI sang all the way and turned in 15 km/l average fuel consumption (and I don't drive slowly) .. sweet little thing ... can't wait to see how it performs after a remap.

Went to drive home from work yesterday and the "EPC" light came on, followed by the engine sign, thought great, just what I need. Took it to Kwikfit to have the code read only to be told they couldn't get a proper reading from it and couldn't clear the fault code. Then took it to my friends garage who has a very nice £9k snap on VAGCOM system, he managed to clear the fault, but as I turned the car back on again it came up again, but just the EPC light not the engine light.

The error code is 01537, which after googling appears to be a battery issue! Hmm

I dropped mine off the have a new clutch fitted (slipping on boost with a passenger on board) and for the rear screen washer to be sorted. All free of charge thank goodness. Pick it up Monday. Have been wondering about bedding in the clutch though. Some say you don't, some say drive normally but no launching and others say carefull for 500miles? It is going to be a new oem (presumably a LUK instead of a Sachs) clutch. Any ideas anyone?
