What did you and your MK2 do today?

We will be heading off for some APR stage 1 goodness later on today.
I think i might actually have a few butterflies, not sure if its excitement for the remap, or fear that my clutch or valves might not make the return drive

Had the car up on the lift at work today to spray some of the bolts with rust penetrating oil, ready for fitting the sportlines later on in the week. Hopefully won't have any mega tight bolts 
Attended a Trackday at Blyton Park yesterday and had an amazing day............
Met a few Forum members and got to give the the car a good shakedown after it's new handling mods and engine bits and bobs.....
The car was faultless all day and even with the temps in the mid 20's handled the beating without breaking a sweat. I managed to cover over 100 miles on the track and the 595 RSR's also stood up to the task admirably.
Was great to meet Toosmiles (Simon) and take him out on track with me as well, I think he even enjoyed it too!
Didn't take any photos which I'm gutted about but found a couple on the internet.
Enjoying a much needed cooling off period.

I'm guessing I was in the car when this was being taken though!
Had the car serviced today, dropped the 10w50 Millers Nanodrive and replaced with 5w40 Nanodrive. Also changed the brake fluid with more ATE SuperBlue. Once home I swapped back to my road wheels, reinstalled the interior and swapped from the Pagid RS 2-9's back to the RS 4-2's. Finally I gave it a courtesy scan with VCDS to check all was well after the track abuse.

Most people would laugh but i do have one actually, if your rubber is good enough try avoiding using the metal clips or at least make em smaller so that it doesnt leave two lumps in the rubber
You bit the bullet and went for them then you'll love the look! But yeah make sure you put the metal clips in right..
dammit I love a red LCR! Seriously like the look of this car and so tempted to get a strip mod done!
yeah had to really for the price. worth a look to see how it makes the car look.
