Lighting on cars is normally about the colour. I.e white/yellow to front and red only to rear, so as long as it matches this I think it will be fine

As long as they don't cause undue dazzle and are the right colours they should be fine. No different from fitting DRLs in bumper etc

Hope not they've I've only just replaced them all and new plugs. Reckon it's just the dreaded scuttle leaking. Seriously gonna have to figure a way to stop it. Bar silicone I'm not sure what else to do.

Even without trying to seal around the panel, if you plug the 3 holes in the bonnet strip recess, not much water will leak into the engine. And any water which does collect under the bonnet strip in the recess generally will flow out of the back corners when you lift the bonnet a tiny little bit above the horizontal. (If you lift it right up it will pour all over the engine and battery).

So even if no attempt or some attempt is made to try and stop the water getting in there in the first place doesn't work (which it wont) then at least you can minimise how much water gets onto and into the coils by plugging the drain holes and carefully draining it before driving off.

Finally got round to cutting holes in the back of the bulb holders for the hid kit, fits so much better now and tidied the all the wiring away to solve the radio interference problem so overall job done.
