Gave the FR a much needed detail. Was good to try out some new products I've bought over the past few weeks like my new Nilfisk power washer.

Valet Pro citrus pre wash followed by another new purchase some Auto Finesse lather shampoo (great stuff by the way). Then some Nattys paste wax and finally another new one in G Techniq Crystal V3 (very pleased with it).

Added a couple of little touches, first was a ignition cover
3641a1c7b1728e662461595f9d27bc7b.jpg

Second is a bit of sticker bombing which I'm still deciding if I like it or not
6f941bc16a10792b37f67f1931492b46.jpg

not bad for just under £10 I reckon.

Some good results there Dan. Nice shine to it!!

Thanks, it does look nice if I do say so myself lol.

I would recommend the GTechniq C2 to anyone. So easy to use and the results speak for themselves.

For anyone who remembers me... Changed my car again. Couldn't afford to run the golf doing 20k a year and 28mpg.

I now have a 1.9TDi 130 AVF B6 Avant :)

"It's basically just a Golf, only better"

Good effort there mate top job :)

Picked up a set of FR Andromeda alloys for a bargain price today. Could do with refurb so not sure what to do with them... leave them as they are and get some winter rubber, refurb them and get a nice set of new Eagle f1's to then swap over with my current Andromeda's, or just hang on to them or even sell them on.....

Decisions.....

Keep them Dan then do a refurb and colour change. Then you can swap the wheels as and when you fancy a different look [B)]

No it was the red ed30 in his avatar.

Looks like a comfy wagon Sam lol. Look awesome lowered on some wide wheels :)

Yep a bit of a difference from the ed30 however I will hopefully enjoy the lower fuel/insurance/tax costs :) not planning on doing much with it to be honest as I want to put money into savings instead!

Have thought of a slightly different colour but stuck for ideas, will be staying a silver/grey colour though - definitely no black!!. Any suggestions anyone? This is how my car sits now.... I do like the shadow chrome finish you get on BMW's....

I popped to revolution to see about tyres but they couldn't get them until mid May ( picked up filter while I was there) Harry at great north tyres got me the rubber for £114 a corner fitted [B)] good ol Harry,Revolution are supposed to be a Michelin dealer and offer fuel cash back, 1 they couldn't get them and 2 they wanted £130 a corner fitted  spend an extra £60 for £70 fuel card

Didn't notice his avatar ! My bad.

Yeah the shadow chrome would look spot on, seen a couple with white on white but guess it's not everyone's taste

Rich FR's looks good with the slightly gold on white look.
