Yup, had it checked and the timing pulley wasn't doing anything and was stuck at something like -27 degrees. Sounded like a BTCC car cycling on idle.
Replaced the chain as a precaution in case it had been stretched by the non-adjusting pulley.
The code I got from Carista was "P0016 CMP Sensor (G40)/Engine Speed Sensor (G28) Bank 1, incorrect correlation"
Did you replace the pulley and tensioner aswell?
And has that solved the issue?

Replaced pulley and chain, the tensioner was checked and was fine (not long been replaced). Issue seems to be solved, will see how it goes!
took a deposit on it and gave it a wash ready for when the new owner picks it up, happy and sad times

Whats next!?
The bonnet paint had gone horrible after a poor respray in the past (before I had the car) and also had a nasty dent above the grill after a football hit it. So got the dent sorted and thankfully my dad for sorted the paint, done a great job, so dead pleased.
Also someone punched the rear quarter panel outside of a pub, which is now sorted and I’ll polish the panel with the DA over Christmas when I’m off work.

It’s distorted the panel slightly and isn’t perfect but not massively noticeable.

Fitted gas bonnet strut kit and boost gauge
Quite pleased just need to wire up the gauge to light up

Was it much effort changing the speakers? Would you say its worth doing

Not a huge amount of effort. I found a kit on good old eBay with vibe speakers..
£45 for the front and another £45 for the rears.
Biggest issue is fitting the door cards in the cold!
I would recommend it. Well worth the money!

In a word Yes. Throttle response has improved. So has MPG. Id highly recommend it.
