Confirmed! Thats gotto be worth at least £50 right? Makes the service seem a little better value. ;)

More like £148 for the Euro cover from the AA (who do SEATs cover) my dealer gave me a fob to put on my keyring as well as a print out of the cover. An email from SEAT Cust Care came the week after.

Been really enjoying this forum today, so today I decided to soundproof my boot and rear arches.
Next step when it's dry is to do the front door cards!!

Took the 1.8FR for its second annual service with no issues.

Traffic was a nightmare coming back so had to pull out smartish and got wheel hop for the first time (made me think I was driving a Cupra:lol: but the road was VERY greasy!)

Speaking of Cupras, if anyone is still looking for a new 290 there is a red 5 Dr manual sat in the showroom of D M Keith in York.

THis time of years i find it very hard to motivate myself to wash it. The mrs will just blast it to work the next day and get it dirty again!

Yeah I've just been taking mine to the jet wash and blasting the grime off then giving it a proper shampoo scrub every other weekend

would the interior light still work when unlock the door, or light just become the coming home/leaving home light?

Your interior lights work as normal. You're just attaching the headlights to the same function.

I fitted a brand new Cupra 290 steering wheel to my Cupra 280 (direct replacement) last week. The old one was manky. The new one is much nicer - better stitch, better finish.

Today my alloys are getting powdercoated.
