Fitted my metal foot rest. Looks much better. Can’t wait to see in dark with the footwell lights on.

I still cannot bring myself to part with nearly £30 for the rest when the pedals cost me a fiver

Got rid of all the dirt and replaced it with two layers of wax... shiny. But noticed more bloody scratches and chips, the paint seems to be made from Swiss cheese.

Dropped off to get some tints and new/ Fresh wrap, previous wrap had been done in the snow and didn't take to well to the panels / plastic trim. This time it will be prepped properly with some sanding and primer.

Lets see what Peter and the guys @WTS can do!

Not quite 3 months old. Come back to it in the supermarket car park to find this. I bet Desire Red is an absolute :censored: to match.[:@]

Ouch. Father had a 4cm long gouge-like scratch put into the rear PU of his 6-month old Med. Blue Leon by person unknown the other week.
I suggested to him that a place like 'Chips Away' should be able to sort it quickly with minimal effort for around £65 or so.
Turned-out the local company he chose felt the need to re-spray the area affected, but did a very good job, at his home and charged £90 all-in, (SE England rates) so not too bad.

I feel your pain, someone scratched my Cupra in a car park this week. Luckily it looks like it will polish out, cosmetic mark made by a handbag possibly... note to self, don’t park next to Quahqui’s!

I hate supermarket car parks. Still trying to work out what did it as it runs right up the front bumper up to where it meets the wing. I'm guessing it was a trolley. Some will polish out, but the rest is going to need paint. As others have said, the paint does seem a tad thin. In the great scheme of things it's a mere annoyance, but it p1sses me off when people have no respect for other people's property.
And don't get me started on handbags and shopping bags placed on the roof/bonnet of the car parked next to you....:wtf:

Yeah, this is why in supermarket car parks I park as far away from other people as possible. Longer walk, but hey it's also extra exercise...

Likewise.
But isn't it incredible how often you leave your car with 8 spaces empty each side and come back to find they're still empty, except for the one right next to you which is occupied by the crappiest Vauxhall Nova known to man?
They do it deliberately :banghead2

I really like the alcantara Cupra interior but have always found the faux leather on the centre armrest and door armrests to be a bit hard and uncomfortable.

So I made up a custom design that matches the existing interior and had it re-trimmed in real leather instead (and added a Cupra logo... why not :flag:)

Really happy with how it turned out. Ill be getting the door arm rest done next when I think up a design and material combo.
