Took it to the Garage and left it there.

Came away with a Cupra Formentor VZ2.

Im going to miss my Leon Cupra 300. A great car but its time someone else can have it to enjoy the lovely Desire Red and 310hp (Dyno’d at Unicorn on the Forum day back in Nov 2019). I hope whoever gets it after me enjoys it as much as i did.

Got my Leon back this time without the water.
Even though it wasn't what was initially diagnosed and took a lot of time to find/fix they still only charged me the initial quote.
Huge respect for North Wales Seat, brilliant customer service.

Bought a Ramair Intake (the big open filter)
Was cheap on Facebook as the guy had it listed for the Octavia VRS only.

Looking forward to fitting it this week

I installed these airscoops from HG-motorsport:
Not sure about any gains.. but it was a fun and easy install.

Hey Chillout,

I've drilled holes in the plastic trim behind the upper row of the grille.
Saved me the money and does the trick just as well I guess :p.

Edit: some pictures:

It might not look so pretty, but you can clearly see the light coming from the intake runner shine through, so...

Not to mention the weight reduction!

Quite a clever mod :)
I've been thinking about doing this, but then dremeling out the entire area inside the grille, but decided not to because it would be a f*cking tedious job to do!

Haha exactly. And to remove the whole bumper just to reach it from the back seems like overkill too.
I wanted holes specifically, because of all the typically Belgian splash from the newest asphalt in rainy weather. Thought it's suck in too much water maybe...

Rather than make a thread on this- it's been a long time since I tried to find a part number, what's the best way to do it?

I'm after a tow hook cover from front bumper FL FR. Booked in next week for bodywork need one ASAP lol

What you got lined up?
Had the following -
Timing belt/water pump/tensioner
DSG service
Brake fluid
Air con
Full service
MOT

Didn't mind spending the money on it as I'm the one who will benefit from it being reliable. Plus I got the car at a decent price with the above considered at least I know it's done. I've got it booked in for front and back bumper, bonnet, roof chips and polish too.

Got 2 new PS4 fitted on the front and moved the old ones to the back, I say old however they've done maybe 1500miles.
Should feel a little more confident with Michelins all round again.
