Pro tip, buy one that is bolted on one side and nylon if you can, it's means you can tuck it in to corners/edges nicer and reduces the chance of scratching the paint with the sticking out bits

OCD strikes again.....in preparation for when the lower boot liner arrives and gets installed, stripped all the stuff out of the boot, cleaned and polished the bare boot floor and spare wheel well - at least it's all factory clean for when the carpet gets put in! Will be a few days as i's a factory order, but in no hurry for it.
Whilst the variable boot floor was out, I've shampooed that as well, so that's sparkling clean too (and smells better than it did with having the dog cages sat on it!).
That's not OCD. That's normal.

Unless I also have OCD.

I really wasn't happy with how the car drove and it occurred to me that Seat would have had the subframe and other suspension related parts off the car for the engine replacement so took the car for an alignment. It wasn't out by huge amounts but it was most definitely out so after adjustments were made, the car drove great again!

No specs kept as that information is of no use to me and I use the same person for my alignments so would be pointless me having a print out. Save the trees and all that :ROFLMAO:

Got a P0030 Error code this week, Checked out the wiring and have replaced the oxygen sensor 1 (this is the one upstream of the CATG)

To celebrate I have booked another track day next week.

Also purchased new track seat which is currently being built so looking forward to getting that fitted on the following track day.

Well unsuccessfully tried to inspect my blower motor. Someone said either needs replacing but also could be have debris or need lubricating.

Had this annoying squeeling nose when I’m driving coming from the blower motor for last year or 2.
Given up on trying to get seat to look at it…Everytime I go in for service or other work I mention it but nobody ever looks at it.

Started unscrewing glove box and realised I may not need to do this and removing the bottom panel may be sufficient enough.

I just can’t seem to find this locking tab to remove it. Not matter how much I feel around can’t feel or see anything that resembles that tab

Yours is held in by the torx screws on the tab looking parts. 2 seen in the pic but may be a third.
