Got my Aircon Regassed today, absolute game changer again. Especially given the great weather

Well for those of us at Cadwell Park today for a track day we had rain for a lot of the day. Late afternoon sun came out but the rest was just wet.

Have to say My Leon loves it like this when running on Road Tyres but I did get a bit fed up with all the red flags due to a) people pushing cars too far in the Rain and b) Lots of single seaters spinning out as they are not designed for this sort of condition with semi/slicks

I don't get it why you think you have grip with so much rain  The car probably runs Cup tyres, which are not happy in the rain I reckon. Anyway! I finally made an exhaust vid.

I also created a vid from my buddies VW Passat "R32" with the VR6 engine. He has a Varex valvetronic muffler, sounds absolutely mental. Unfortunately, I used another mic as usual, so we have to reshoot the video someday.

Enjoy!

Well I am no expert but all I can tell you is when we have heavy rain at Cadwell i have a much better setup than the small single seaters and little motors based on the number of cars I was able to overtake.
Partly because I am running PS4S or Conti7 and my car is heavier than these other motors.
Also a lot of people came with Semi Slicks vs my normal road tyres which defo give me a better grip in the wet, downside is when it dry's out then the tables can change..
Finally I do try and use the wet line vs the Dry line on the track which does seem to offer a little help.

Or maybe its because I know the track very well and others are being cautious because they don't

Yesterday I integrated an emulator into my desk station where I test control units for my Leon, etc. It unlocks the speedometer, ignition, etc.

Took my MK3 Leon out for a scenic drive today—handled like a dream as usual! Just did some routine maintenance last week, so it’s running smoothly. I also read some Intoxalock reviews before considering using one for added peace of mind. It's great to see how people appreciate the convenience and reliability of their devices for responsible driving. Always better to play it safe.
Spaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaam

I’d agree.

There’s another post (post #6) from this forum ‘member’ account in the discussion thread at the link below that‘s suspiciously spam-like; the company being recommended in that post is USA-based engine rebuilding company. Why would a ‘real’ person be recommending an USA based engine rebuild company on a Seat forum when Seat don’t sell cars in the USA?

I smell a spam bot……………

Purchased another 20l of Fuchs Titan Race Pro S 5W-40 Ester Fully Synthetic Engine Oil plus a set of Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 R Connect tyres.

I have also booked in for later in the year to have a rear cage fitted along with the new bucket seats so looking forward to getting out on the track with the new setup.
