Speaking on warranty lucky I pressed on and didn’t give up with going to dealer.

Car went in this week finally for a couple of issues after a cockup last month with dealer

Car needs a new charge air cooler I believe?
Didn’t get to speak to technician but they had car few days and came back with that.

Seems to be a common issue with 1.5 engines from research.

Just waiting for it to be authorised by Warranty then have to get it back booked in.

Think this has been faulty for a while tbh
Car performance has felt off for sometime.

Guess we’ll find out once replaced

Glad it was found before the warranty ends still hoping for a Black Friday deal to extend jt

Just ordered a new battery from Tanya, via eBay, decided to get a Banner EFB as this is the same as fitted to my car which will be 10 years old on 2nd December. Although it seems to start OK, I decided not to tempt fate, so hopefully won't get caught out by a flat battery. eBay also had a discount code so price paid was just over £100!

Not today but yesterday fitted rear leather seats from an FR 5dr hatch.
I got them pretty cheap but these were a wierd version as they had no hidden space where the cable goes to drop the seats for an ST.
I read on here in another thread thats its buried behind the fabric, however these seats never had them so I took a trip to bham to an upholster and got them to open up the seats held with clips etc and then fit them to my seat frames.

I had an email from SEAT UK referencing the special offer of a plan upgrade, but when I clicked on the link there was no mention of the offer, so I bought a standard plan today, I've contacted Seat Finance with regards to the offer, just waiting to hear back from them.

Passed for the yearly MOT (my first time with the Cupra) and performed a 4wheel alignment at the same shop. Last time I was there it ended in disaster, the gearbox of my Mercedes CLS55 AMG grenaded itself right after they did the 4wheel alignment (august 2024).

The shopmanager remembered the story The reason I went back to them, is that they did a great job with the alignment. I went to 2 other shops before them (with the CLS55 AMG), who only changed the toe and called it a day, they did not even touch the camber .

Happy to hear that the Cupra passed the MOT without any remarks!

I had a similar issue when i went to buy it, there was only the regular priced one, not discount.

I’ve seen similar reports on Facebook group I think it’s a Volkswagen. Where they contacted dealer about it on Monday and apparently the deal was pulled lunchtime Monday ahead of the supposed December 3rd end date. So they couldn’t set it up at cheaper rate.

Anyone have issues with condensation.

I’ve had an ongoing issue for years where the back windows get steamed up very quickly.

The bottom half of rear window especially.

Checked boot no leaks that I can see.

I’m also questioning if Auto climate control is working properly?
As when it’s on, the vents in the rear at the back of centre console don’t seem to blow any air out…I don’t know that’s normal?

Unsure if that’s contributing to things

@Tester01 I found out I had a rear window seal leak when I replaced the tailgate lock. Use some water spray or shop air to check around the seal. Remove the tailgate trim for better access/views.

May sound like a silly question when I spray water around the seal what should I expect to be the the result - if there is a leak?

Defo something not right though it’s a constant reoccurring problem the rear window but yeah the car defo steams up very easily

Try de humidifying the car if you have a dehumidifier.
