'97 Ford Fiesta 1.25
'93 Rover 216 GTi Twin Cam - probably the most fun car I've owned!
'93 Subaru Impreza (while living in the US)

'01 Lotus Elise S2 (second car) - fun but extremely unreliable (Rover K Series)
'06 Ford Fiesta 1.25

'06 Lotus Elise 111R (second car) - brilliantly built, really quick. Fantastic VTEC kick at 6,200rpm
'04 Renault Clio 1.5 TDI - slowest car ever but very economical (65mpg)

'07 Seat Leon TDI 140 - nice all rounder
'10 Lotus Elise Supercharged (second car) - fastest thing I've ever driven!

Yeah, loved the handling an performance. Was a cheap car as we have a new titanium x Smax 240 ecoboost for the main car.

Gave it a good look over but now sadly discovered rust (on a 56 plate!!) a leak into the boot, under boost fault and a window switch just failed. Only paid 4.5 so not moaning but all the se my 3 series was a 56 plate I'd had from new and aside from a very resent door solenoid in 7 years it never had a single issue. Did 70 k in it.

I like the leon but am disappointed in the little issues.

Once I've sorted them sure I'll be happy with my bargain at the mojo I'm a bit fed up though :).

Why did you swap your 56 plate BMW that you've had from new with no issues to a car that wasn't any newer and you don't know it's history? I'd have kept the BMW lol :)

Just spent over 25k on a new Smax and the wife's given up work. Was bored with the BMW and got offered 8k for it. So the allure of banking a few grand as getting a nice little leon FR appealed.

I'm happy with a little project re the cosmetics but this leak is pee'inhg me off, coming in around the back light and into the boot . Sealed it all up but no joy. Not looking forward to frost inside the windows come winter . :(. Still optimistic ill cure it soon. Other wise I love it. More fun than the 320, faster and great on my rural commute. Power folding mirrors are a bonus. It's a nice black one and I've had the wheelss done in dark grey. Once I tackle this leak I'll be happier. And can get on with enjoying it.
