Before I got my leon I had a 2004 Megane 3dr Sport Hatch, 1.9 DCI, with 17" alloys, panoramic glass roof, upgraded hands free entry,factory fit spoiler and a few other toys.

when i part exchanged it I'd done 97k and it was relatively trouble free apart from the last 12 months and the day i took it to collect my leon when the turbo blew.

just waiting for the plate to be transferred to my leon now.

1984 Austin Maestro 1.3 (burgundy) - worst car owned
1981 Ford Escort 1.3 (flat red!) - so much better than the Maestro
1989 VW Polo 1.3 CL (silver) - built like a tank but scarily bad non-servoed brakes
1993 Ford Fiesta XR2i (red) - only 105 bhp but I loved it
1994 Honda Civic ESi (BRG) - great car but didn't fit in it
2001 VW Lupo GTI (black) - best car owned probably. Rocket powered rollerskate.
2004 Seat Toledo 150 TDI Sport (silver) - really underrated, and a fab car but shocking depreciation.
2007 Leon FR TDI - best car owned alongside the Loop.

Some crackers:

1) 10 year old 1973 Austin 1300GT with no clutch, swiss cheese sub-frame and blown manifold (but surprisingly 12 months MOT);

2) Ford Capri 2.0S JPS in black with Wolfrace alloys and retrofitted electric windows - I looked like a dealer!

3) Triumph Dolomite 1500 (NOT the Sprint), bought from an auction - it lasted 2 hours before the big ends went on the M62;

4) Another Ford Capri, this time a 2.0GL;

5) A brand spanking new, straight from the forecourt....1989 Fiesta 1400S. About as powerful as a motability scooter, with the same street-cred.

6) 1992 Mini Metro 1.4GTi 16v (with multipoint injection, I'll have you know!) 103bhp in something smaller than a rollerskate and the handling to match - it's a wonder I didn't kill myself.

7) 1994 Vauxhall Corsa 1.5TD - well, with fuel at 50p/litre I had to make savings.

8) 1997 Vauxhall Corsa 1.4 Sport:sleeping:

9) 2000 Peugeot 306 DTurbo - great handling car with a reasonably pokey engine.

10) 2003 Peugeot 307 DTurbo - underpowered heap of sh1t.

11) 2005 Skoda Fabia vRS - excellent car that could be chucked around B-roads like nobody's business - why oh why did I give it up?

12) 2007 Seat Leon 2.0TFSi FR DSG - Oh, I remember now!
And the day after I posted this originally, three t***s decided they liked it too, and car-jacked it off my drive! So...

13) 2002 1.6 Astra (for a month) - surprisingly good handling.

14) 2007 Seat Leon 2.0TD Stylance DSG - surprisingly good performance for a 140bhp.

And since yesterday...

15) 2010 Seat Leon 2.0TD FR DSG - too early to say...

Here's a mix of cars and bikes I've had over the years:

H1990 Fiat Uno 1.4 SXie, metallic blue, 70BHP (This thing even had climate control!)

L1994 Fiat Uno 1.4 Turbo ie, black, 119BHP

T1999 Suzuki SV650S, metallic black (bought just after launch the month after I past my bike test). This has been the only vehicle I've owned since new.

R1998 Seat Cordoba 2.0 SX 16V, silver, 169BHP from AMD

W2000 Triumph TT600, red & silver (taking on the ZX6R and winning on the road, probably one of the loudest bikes in Peterborough after the Triumph sport can was fitted!)

51-2001 Triumph Daytona 955i, silver (probably one of the most gorgeous exhaust tones I've ever heard after fitting a Blueflame dual-port system)

W2000 Fiat Punto Sporting 1.2, yellow, 85BHP

51-2002 Seat Ibiza Cupra 20VT, red, 200BHP Revo from Badger 5

S1999 Mazda 323F 2.0 V6 24V, white, modified but never rolling roaded

53-2003 Kawasaki Z1000, metallic black, the craziest most fun bike I've ever ridden!

04-2004 (current) Seat Leon Cupra 1.9 TDi FL, Platinum grey, 150 BHP, it's been a faithful machine that's taken me more miles than any other car I've owned. Interior modifications make it a very nice and practical place to be all year round.

51-2002 (wife's 1st and current car) VW Polo 1.4 Colour Concept, red, rare.

The next change on the cards is most likely the bike. I've had it almost 5 years, it's so much fun, but it has no fairing and I hate getting caught out in British bad weather. Luckily, there is an animal that just might fit the bill.

New to this forum but interesting to see what went before and to find one or two bikers in the mix too as they've had a big part to play in my vehicle history.

I can't possibly list 'em all as there are some 60+ including cars and bikes but over the last 3 years I've owned the following:

2004 Noble M12 GTO 3R
2005 Yamaha R1
2005 JCW Mini Cooper S
2005 BMW M5 (E60)
2006 Porsche Cayman S
2009 Focus RS (Mk2)
2008 Audi S3
2009 Audi TTS
2004 BMW M3 (E46)
2008 Seat Leon Cupra K1 (Stage 2+ mods - current car)

I can honestly say that I am enjoying the Cupra as much as nearly all the above with the exception of the Noble which is simply the best drivers' car of all time :)
