best for me is the auto tinting rear view mirror, looks almost black when car headlights behind you at night, and when they are gone back to normal....
i found out today when i was bored and reading my handbook that the clip on the underside of the parcel shelf is to hold up the boot liner so you can use two hands to get the spare wheel out
yay!! i've always wanted to know what that was for. Tried hanging shopping once and that ended badly!!![]()

sensors are in the rear passenger light fittings

It only switches them off for the next time you arm the system - as you're about to shut the door, press the button then lock the car and the sensors will be disabled. The time after that, they'll be back on again, unless you press the button again.
The fuel cap has wee cut outs round the rim so that you can sit it on top of the fuel flap, so that the cap doesn't rest against the paint.

If you unlock your car and don't open it within 30 seconds or so it locks its self again.
The OEM ride eight is 2mm higher at the passengers side as these cars were designed to be left hand drive.
In my 2001 LC I have the headphones working on rear ashtray and the passenger mirror only, dips to see kerb when reverse is selected but only when mirror dial is switched to drivers mirror.

Can you have radio out of the car speakers and a cd out of the heaphones or visa versa?
just found out that a non standard head unit causes vag com not to connnect![]()
Sorry, could have been a bit clearer in my post above. It's not always a problem, but it's a known problem in some circumstances, which has a fix for those who are brave enough to try it. I've scanned plenty of cars with aftermarket headunits of various specs and never come across a problem (apart from not talking to the radio, obviously), it seems to be limited to certain wiring harness configurations.
Mine also has heated wing mirrors,
When you put the de-mister on for the rear windscreen,
If theres rain on your wing mirror it will clear them![]()
