What do you wish the Cupra had?

Due to the MQB chassis and 2.0 engine a lot of people compare the Cupra to the S3 and Golf R. But what features do you think the car should have, that it doesn't and aren't available as options? For me personally it has got to be:

Keyless Start/Entry
E-Handbrake
Motorised Boot (on the ST as per Audi A4/A6)

I understand not having them as standard but as options I am sure they would prove popular! I am coming from a 2014 A6 Avant which had these features and I am sure I am going to miss them!

E-handbrake? Are you crazy?? Never... :)
For daily parking is e-handbrake benefit, but for winter fun...no way... :)

A decent sat nav.
A better exhaust. ( louder)
Option between LED & xenon headlights.

In regards to your comment on decent sat nav, I haven't got my Cupra yet so have yet to experience the Sat Nav. Despite having gone for the High option that was more so I would get the higher-res screen and CarPlay. I use Waze for everywhere I go and really hope that one day Apple will allow it on to their CarPlay platform as I hate having a phone stuck to the windscreen, dash etc.

Somewhere
All-wheel-drive, with rear bias. I know, I know, FWD is fine but it's not very sideways

Also, I really like the sat nav. Don't know what anybody's problem is with it tbh.

Agreed - never an e-handbrake.

It is actually getting harder and harder to find cars now without it which is a pitty because I detest it.

Alcantara/suede steering wheel would have been nice. The new RS3 has one, not sure if it's an option or standard.

I also like the boost gauge of the S3/RS3. As the dials are the same I wonder why we don't get it?

Mapcare as standard, or at least updates for a reasonable price (say £20-£30) rather than the cost of a new TomTom with (lifetime free maps) every year.....

To me they've got the alcantara in the wrong places, I'd want it where my hands are most of the time and the leather where they've put the alcantara.

Ditch the cd player and make the glove box bigger. Alter the door cards so you can put a 500ml drink bottle upright in them as in golf's. Side skirts should be standard fitment and so should sports seats, it annoys me nowadays that sports models now have optonal sports seats, they used to be standard. More paint colour choices. Heated front screen.

If it came with a E hand brake I would not have bought it. When I'm 85, incontinent and can't remember where I left the car in the 1st place then I may want an E-hand brake. Until then I'm more than capable of putting it on when I want to. Nothing against any one wanting one though!

Only thing I'd like is better paint quality, other than that, for the money, it's a top motor,

And yes oil temp on the main screen would be more beneficial than water temp to me.

Ours (Dec 14 delivery) is nowhere near as good as the previous (62 plate) RNS315.
Its too slow to start, frequently zooms out randomly, despite showing 300yds in the zoom box is showing roads etc 2-3 miles away. The graphics are confusing and show far too much detail. Occasionally ends up in Germany.
I've still got an RNS315 in the Passat. Tried an experiment other day. Me & t'wife , one in the Leon , one in Passat. Start car, load in the same destination and start off when route loaded. Passat is around 3 minutes quicker to load.
Leon sat nav is no better than my 10 year old TomTom.

Yeah, I'd sooner have boost (or oil temp) than coolant. I take it the non Cupra trim levels have coolant temp in the bottom of the rev gauge as well?

MY16 CUPRAs have boost and oil temp dials though?
