anyway of checking this without vag com ? probably not but i thought id ask anyway, i think this might solve a problem ive had for a while i noticed it was alot slower after getting the clutch pedal changed so perhaps its the throttle position?

i adjusted mine the other day, awesome different, a good possible fix if performance is down and you've checked your MAF, especially likely if your pedal was removed to reweld it after the clutch pedal welds give way

Did you get 100% after adjusting?

what would it normally be set to when it leaves the factory, if its set to 90% from the start is it like that for a reason ?

Don't know, but mine was 90% and a mate of mines was 96.1%. Had a fiddle with mine and hit a max of 96.1% so left it at that.

Ok so does it turn freely or stop when its reached max?
I wouldnt mind turning mine now but dont want to mess it up not having vagcom handy to check the % !!
Damn this is like having a button that has you shouldnt press, you know you're gonna :help:

didnt vagcom it, just turned it clockwise with a 13mm socket on a ratchet until it tightened up :)

Ahh ok, just be careful though because when i tightened mine up the throttle would ocasionally stick to the floor when pressed!

 so is this a posible reason for the different performance on some of the ibiza's? i know some with just revo, claim they can match a ko3s ect.

Could well be, defo worth checking. Still dying to know if peopel are getting 100% though

As far as i know mine has never be messed with and it was 96.1%.
I Would not play with it unless you have vag-com plugged in as you do it.
It could be very dangerous, as said above when we did it it would get to 96.1 then stop going up but it would keep turning so unless you've got vag-com you don't know what your doing.
