Started my diy vent pod for my boost gauge. Just can't decide weather to have it angled towards me or sitting flush with the vent

had to remove my splitter as it got ripped off while dropping off my mate at his house - lives up a country road
Ah well looks like a new splitter for me![]()
Powerflow is excellent mate had mine on 10 years now still fine was expensive at £450 cat back not sure what they go for these days but you get choice of how you want it to sound and choice of tailpipe. Lifetime guarantee also.Luckily it was the bracket that holds the two parts together, bolts had disintegrated lol so new bolts and get it back to normal until I can get it on ramps. Still considering stainless though.
How was the powerflow on yours? I've got a local(ish) supplier. Been considering them. Although I can get a Milltek Non-Res Cat back for £439 fitted
Also got the option of ProSpeed and Longlife, but for the price of a longlife I may aswell pay the extra and get the Milltek.
Theres a wire mesh at the bottom of the tube that prevents debris from entering the sumpWas going in for cam belt/water pump/service and to have the lower dip stick tube replaced (crap plastic one had broken).
But they then found a rear coil spring had broken and they couldn't get the broken bit of the dip stick out so have now had to drop the sump and try to get to it from the inside out.
And very frustratingly they have an offer on Eibach springs which I would love to have taken up but am already in over £800 so that wont be happening.
Why not leave it there? A small piece of plastic wont clog the oil pick-up pipe.
Maybe it will flush out at the next oil change.
These are £3 odd from GSF car parts push on fitThe bottom half of the tube where it goes into the block has broken off , thus I don't have a dipstick.

I just broke mine off as it was so brittle wasnt too difficult to get off with pliers and a screwdriverOnly if it comes out nice and easy/cleanly , this one doesnt want to budge , I believe they even tried heating the block around it and it just crumbled/would not budge.
I had an Aprilia nicknamed "Frankie" (Short for Frankenstein), My LCR is gonna be nicknamed FrankieII![]()
