fitted new poly bushes to front arms and new track rod ends, with 2 new tyres up front. makes the nwe lsd even more fun with a tighter front end now :D

walked past it parked in car park as i got a lift becasue having a few beers after work and thinkin you can stil drive isnt cleaver

second set of bushes ive fitted now. mine and sams. the best way ive found is to burn the rubber out, get a hack saw, cut a slot or two in teh race and bash it out. i used a vice, big socket and a bit of wood to get them in. went in a doddle wiht the grease supplied. dont be affraid to put alot of pressure on them, theyre tight to get in !

That sounds simple enough.
Getting a knocking whilst reversing and vague steering and pressuming the track rod ends are shagged on mine, where did you get yours and how much if you don't mind me asking

got em from euro car parts, there about £25 each but i get trade discount on them (track rods ends yh?)
if you jack it up, if theyre knocking youll feel play in them. only 1 of mine was gone, but the bushes were shagged, put new drop links on too seeing as i was there

on my old car, the knocking when reversing turned out to be a dodgey top mount, but that was a ford focus

made a new cd last night , popped i in the 6 disc changer and drove it to work !!

Woke up, admired my completely stock standard mirror silver Cupra sitting outside the house. Then admired it before I got in with a big smug smile on my face, then took a leisurely drive to work via country roads and nice stretch of motorway. repeated the process when I came home :D
