FINALLY fitted my heat shield and what a difference that makes to the noise!
Also started on the 249 bypass, got the hose from inlet mani off straight away but the clip on the dv hose was not playing! I will be going back outside tomorrow with a Stanley knife and some spare silicon hose

Well Wednesday evening I removed my sump and oil pick up, Thursday afternoon I fitted my new oil pick up, fitted sump with new sealant and on the last bolt I dropped it into the gearbox/bell housing so had to remove it clean sealant off and then refit the sump

Removed oil filter, fitted new filter new plugs and fresh oil then drove up to the hotel and then had my car stage 2 mapped this morning!

Had my new cambox gasket fitted, no more oil leak!! Also had gear linkage realigned, all for £200 less than originally quoted. Today is a good day
