Yeah I did re collection isn't available on Saturday and it has to be 24 hours before I can collect, guy said they may be back to depot by 1900 but won't be sorted and shelved for collection!!! Arse!
Washed, new R badges, de-badged 'LEON', new wheel centre caps, painted engine covers, fitted full set of blue/white headlight bulbs except fogs which I need to wait for my axel stands to arrive to get at them

tightned up my forge quick shifter,, bolt came loose and had panics that Gearbox was on way out struggling to get into reverse !!
suppose you dismiss bolts coming loose on cars , where as in motocross / enduro prepping bike for each race you always make sure everythings tight !!
also bought a 2nd hand set of injectors and tandem pump try and get htis car back to itts former glory

Finished powerflexing my dogbone, I already had the big insert. Will be testing it tomorrow, the small insert was in need of replacement!

Had some Motul 5.1 brake fluid put in on Thursday, fluid hadn't been changed in 4/5 years! Gave the car a decent drive today and although there isn't much change to the pedal feel the brakes seemed to keep going after 15 mins of abuse.
I didn't do it myself so couldn't say if it was done or not
Would I be able to do this myself or will I need a pressure bleeder? How could I tell if it was done?
I agree, I had economy's and notices no difference between 288 and 312, but new £50 pagid pads sorted them right out!

Short shift is awesome, you could complement it with the solid shift bushings from 42DD to tighten it up further
