What oil did you use in the box? Genuine stuff?

I used Titan gear oil, 75/90 semi synthetic. The additive is by an american company called BG. You can purchase it on ebay or a guy I know locally in Southeast Kent.

Not really what I've done, but just got a snap on boost leak tester smoke machine with uv tracer at work. Happy days will be using that soon!

Got the car through it's MOT, 1 X track rod end, but replaced both. 1 X CV boot, and exhaust bracket needed welding back on. Saving for a Mongoose system. I also fitted a RAMAir induction kit that I got off eBay for £50.

Any way, got the part from the stealers £62 inc VAT. and to be fair wasnt a bad job 40-50ish mins from start to finish

now my window is back to normal and it also no longer rattles when its part down

My passenger one went the other week I got mine from seat dealer. Was £105 inc vat which I thought wasn't bad plus it was the complete unit

Thats a rip off mine was the complete unit (excluding the metal panel)

Bought an o/s fog grill as mine got hit by a pebble and broke one of the honeycombs; Also bought a fabia rear wiper setup. Both to be fitted next week

Mine came with the metal panel. All I had to do was screw the motor on. Plus it's new so should last for years

I used vag-com to turn of the annoying auto locking function and made it so all doors unlock with one press of the unlock button.

I love the auto lock, Great feature for when the Mrs is out in the car plus we have young children who like to fiddly with things.

Scanned my car for fault codes and found fault code 17748 Did my timing belt last month and was sure the markings lined up as spun the engine over after doing it and it was lined up fine.

Have you double check the timing now!
