No worries mate :) can't believe you sold the leon after all this time Lee, been a while!
Yeah had no intentions either tbh, even got alloys and tyres in June lol.We had it 5 1/2 years.

Haven't seen him on here yet who bought it!
Ak

Not sure if he's a member or not but he read the RR on here and he sorted the insurance the night before he came down.
He Lives in wales and he also bought the plate.

Took a spin to work rather than getting a lift. Has warmed up a bit so regretting the aircon not working. New condenser to fit tomorrow, should be "fun".

Replaced the the air pipe that goes in under the manifold as someone had used 3 different bits of pipe aspose to paying £16 for the proper pipe. And to top it of they thought wrapping it in electric tape would make it air tight lol

i bought the wipers [B)]. now to fit them tomorrow, if it ironically stops raining.

On the subject of wipers, I got some new ones about 2/3 weeks ago and when I turned them on they make a sort of steamy smear which disapears within about 1 second when they are on slow but any faster and the smear is always visible until turning off the wipers. Other than clean the wiper blades is there anything else i can do? The windows and wind screen steamed up pretty quick also, is there any tips for air con / heater settings. Thanks

Use different washer fluid.
I use Turtle Wax ClearVue Rain Repellant, works great and lasts ages if applied properly.

I waited patiently for postman pat to deliver my new amplifier for my sub, and my new smaller number plates. All he brought was a polo rear wiper conversion kit which I completely forgot I ordered!

Added fuel injector cleaner and filled the tank yesterday. Today I replaced the standard air filter with a new one. Defiantly feels more pokey and feels like its accelerating faster and seems like the exhaust note seems a little nicer :) all in the name of trying to increase my mpg in a cupra lol

Thanks I'll try looking out for that stuff. I'm wondering if the smearing might have come from where some polish may have gotten on the wind screen and then onto the wipers.

Fitted my Polo rear wiper and some front aero blades. I finished my resistor mod and wired that in, works a treat. And raised my rear coillies 10mm so she sits level instead of on her a**.

From my RR

Quick update:

I like the "aero" look had them on my red cupra.

Fitted the 15mm rear spacers, surprising how much better it looks. Been for short blast around the lane's and seems to have improved handling as well. Traction is a bit slippy at the moment just "bedding in" some new Falken 453 tyres that were fitted on Thursday. Turned TCL off and lit them up in second a few times. Much better now:D

These spacers you guys keep mentioning I assume are wheel spacers? Fitted some where along the rear axle before the brakes I guess. Increasing the distance covered over the road in width to improve grip? Is the aero wiper purely a cosmetic change?

Spacers go between the hub and and wheel effectively reducing the wheel ET (offset) and pushing the wheelout to increase track. Aero wipers do look better but I think they perform better and are quieter.
