Do you reckon there would be any takers for the standard suspension on fleabay ?

I don't think you'd get much for them on eBay as there are so many breaking and people change to coilovers quite a lot. However, it just so happens that one of my fronts are creaking so I'll be on the look out once I'm home in December. Would be perfect for both of us as I want to lower mine 30mm on just springs so I could do it on these and just do a straight swap ;)

OK Give me a shout when you're back. If I've still got them we can sort something out.
They've done 59K and are in reasonable used condition.

Remapped?

Yep, recently Stage 2. Didn't think it would go straight away but the clutch has been on the car for a while with Stage 1 so bound to go in the end.

Think I'll just bite the bullet and go with the Helix SMF kit!

Helix clutch is a good piece of kit. I had a Helix on my 350BHP Scooby. No slip, easy to drive as well.

Here you go.

Doesn't show that well in pics and I expect it will settle a bit as well.

Did you replace the topmount bush as well?

Thinking I may go for the 50/40 kit now. I'd want the front to sit a bit lower

Yes the top mount and bearing were replaced. I agree the front is probably sitting a bit high.
40/50 would look better. However, where I live in the middle of nowhere down a farm track with a cattle grid, I'm glad it's no lower.:).

Really pleased with the handling though. It feels nicely planted and not too harsh. Turn-in is much improved.

I think I have a coolant leak, hoe much do you think I'd be looking at spending to fix it, change cam belt, water pump and full service. Iv been given a rough quote at around £300, is that good value?

That seems a bit to cheap for that lot,
where is the leak coming from?

I thought it did but still I don't want to be spending a fortune, the car already has had £450 repairs and it cost me £719 lol I'm not sure where the actual leak is coming from. I'm considering just putting in one of those rad seal type products and seeing how that goes. I think its a slow leak as I haven't seen any puddles under the car but the header tank is low and I had it topped up a couple of weeks back when my car was at a garage getting electrics looked at

Get the coolant system pressure tested mate. Can you not see any leak at all? Cances are it's either a pipe that needs nipping up or a slight drip from the rad. Although I did see a couple of people on here needing the coolant bottle cap replacing!
