New clutch + new dmf = scarily low new biting point and 100 yards of kangarooing down the road in between stalling the sod! New battery in too and some new wiper blades tomorrow, also nearly finished making my air vent gauge pod.

IIRC the biting point doesn't change as it's hydraulic.Mine was the same just even lighter

I'll second that. I had mine done last week & there was no difference in biting point between old & new. Felt a bit lighter though, but that may have been my imagination.

Today I fitted my Climate control from a Toledo into my LC, It cost me 20 quid and works perfectly

I'm Autistic so I don't do well at DIY but did it all myself so I'm feeling proud of myself

Little things, I know lol

Good stuff mate. Saved yourself some money by doing it yourself. Dealers charge way too much for certain things:thumbup:

Super good bud :funk:
Fittet a fabia rear viper and a stub antenna, looks like a shark fin and was a supercool mod!

Drove it to work, ran low on fuel and screenwash and noticed how much she could do with a wash.

If the weather stays relatively calm tonight I'll do an oil and sparkplugs change :)

Many thanks

Oh dear lord its LOUD, sounds like a jet! Can hear the turbo through it..

The fun was brought to an end on the drive home when it decided to pop an IC hose off, only to find out my bonnet cable had detached itself and was.unable to open the bonnet!! After finally limping home and a good hour or so of stressing followed a guide on here and got it open .. thanking the heavens for SCN right now!!

Ill get some vids and pics up tomorrow

Perhaps it's just my imagination then, it was very very heavy before now it's stupid light. Nearly booted the pedal through the floor when I first got it back!

Recently had new trailing arm and lower arm bushes (rubber, not polyurethane as I want it to be supple still), Lemförder lower arm ball joints, new discs and pads and a four wheel alignment on a Hunter Hawkeye machine.

Doesn't crash so badly over bumps anymore and now the steering wheel doesn't vibrate every time I brake (the old discs were warped to buggery)!
