what phone is the best for bluetooth????

Hi, Whats the best phone to get which allows bluetooth on the K1 cupra. My phone at the moment allows it to connect but does not download the phonebook from the sim. I know there is a list of which phones are compatable but just wondering which phones is everybody using????

I use a Samsung S8300 touch screen phone all works OK, downloads the phonebook etc. Sometimes have to enter the SEAT PIN Code but no major hassle.

After speaking to the dealer it does depend on the model year depending on the info loaded into the EMS. This, I beleive, can be upgraded depending on the phone used. Need to check with the dealer?

Samsung tocco lite does not download phonebook or call lists but voice dial works ok. had Nokia 6500 before which worked perfect.

My T-Mobile Vario 4 sort of works but I cant answer from the steering wheel only from the phone. If I answer from the wheel I cant hear anyone. It only downloads the phonebook occassionally too

If you downgrade the software from (The appauling) 3.1 to 3.0 all your problems will be solved! I was shocked how much Apple have managed to screw over everyones Iphone with their 3.1 software update. It sounds like a ping pong match in my car with my stereo flashing phone every 5 seconds! Idiots!

I just don't think 3.1 works.... For anyone tbh! Mine crashes at least 3 times a day with it on. Bluetooth gets knackered, battery life is reduced. Ermm I guess these could be called features.

i'm sure you know there is something called a 12 month upgrade.
i'm also sure yove done that many a time.

My iPhone 3GS has suffered from random disconnections with every firmware version from 3.0 to 3.1.2. So don't bother downgrading to 3.0 as it might be better than 3.1 but doesn't solve the disconnection problem.

My Nokia 6300 worked absolutely flawlessly with my Leon's Bluetooth system. Ah well!
