Pickd up a a 59 plate Exeo 143 TDi yesterday. It has only done 5k miles, but the dealer advice is at odds with the service diplay regarding service interval, long term vs fixed.

How can I find out for sure??

Cheers.

Have a look at your data sticker (square sticker in the boot or first page of the service book)

If you see the code QG1 amongst the list it was programmed for variable servicing iof it says QG0 then it was coded for fixed. As long as the dealer havent changed it then it will still be the same.

The Exeo is available on fixed or variable servicing, only if it was built after Week 20 (2009) ;)

As techie has stated above, the coding on the sticker in the boot will tell you, unless the dealer has changed it.

My '59 Exeo is on fixed ONLY servicing, due to being built in Week 7, so it isn't possible to change it to variable :( Despite what I was told by the dealer when I bought it......

Great.

I'll check it out.

QG1 it is :)

So it has the oil condition sensor fitted then??

Thanks for the reply :)

Cheers

Crikey mate.

Its usually me that has the strange codes on my car!

Out of interest, where did you pick up the info from??

Best Regards
Gary

SEAT UK have Confirmed Techies comments about extended interval servicing on my car.

I now have written proof if there is any comeback from the dealer!

Many thanks mate, you're a star!

My general rule of never trust a salesman stands up to scrutiny once again!

The salesman thought the the Exeo had a transverse motor:D
