Pickd up a a 59 plate Exeo 143 TDi yesterday. It has only done 5k miles, but the dealer advice is at odds with the service diplay regarding service interval, long term vs fixed.
Have a look at your data sticker (square sticker in the boot or first page of the service book)
If you see the code QG1 amongst the list it was programmed for variable servicing iof it says QG0 then it was coded for fixed. As long as the dealer havent changed it then it will still be the same.
The Exeo is available on fixed or variable servicing, only if it was built after Week 20 (2009)
As techie has stated above, the coding on the sticker in the boot will tell you, unless the dealer has changed it.
My '59 Exeo is on fixed ONLY servicing, due to being built in Week 7, so it isn't possible to change it to variable Despite what I was told by the dealer when I bought it......
Just found the following info with ref to the 'PR' Codes:
QG0 without service interval prolongation
QG1 service interval prolongation
QG2 no possibility of activating service interval prolongation
QG3 without service interval prolongation, without service reminder
The Sales Manager at the dealers i bought mine from, also thought it was transverse when I asked him about it It was only when the Sales guy who actually dealt with me, popped the bonnet, that I realised it wasn't
I had my Exeo serviced yesterday. From factory, it was on "long Service", but I asked my dealer to change it to 10k servicing. Darn service indicator now says "---days or --- miles"
Thats really useful now!!
Anyone know how to reset it( I found out how to do my old Leon, but I found it by accident!!)
