Thing is with a ghost, if the people hell bent on getting your car have decided to come inside for the keys, what’s stopping them taking you/threatening you for the activation key?

Surely just taking steady measures and having good insurance and GAP on the car is easier?
I did think this but TBH most criminals are looking for a quick in and out, someone prepared to kick a door in and use force goes from a simple vehicle interference or theft of MV to aggravated burglary/GBH so I would say likely hood is low because this could mean life in prison if caught.

Plus as stated they have got to get through your door and make you tell them before someone calls police or they make off anyways.

I have cameras and an alarm,so if they got in and Wernt spooked by that and we hadn’t called police,I would hope someone would notice !

This is my philosophy as far as car security is concerned. IMO it’s not worth putting your own or a loved one’s life at risk if some low life uses threatening behaviour or violence to get their hands on your car. A car can be replaced - a life can’t.
