Im on the hunt for new tyres as i need 4 rather soon. I currently have toyo T1R's on mine but find they wear quite quickly etc.

so what you got ?

i can get 4 T1R's for £245 which IMO is pretty darn good but just scoping out the competition so to speak

toyo t-1rs, really impressed with them so far and alot cheaper than the eagle F1s I had on previously without that much of a difference in quality imo

Currently run 195/45/16 Toyo Proxes T1R's on 8" D90's - on my 4th or 5th set now - also had Goodyear Eagle F1s, Uniroyal Rainsports, Yoko A539s (discontinued) and Bridgestones.

Interested in the Pradas but dont think they stretch too well

4x Goodyear Eagle F1s here. Been brilliant, good in the wet and last well.

T1r's on the front, Vredstein's on the back, the ones with the "v" tread pattern.

my last set of t1r's lasted 6k, so i'll do 2-3 sets a year.

my last set of t1rs have lasted less than 2 months!

Just ordered some more for the front, but when all 4 need replacing again I'll be looking at other options. Sick of goin through them so quick!

Im quite tired of replacing the T1Rs aswell, I usually get about 4 months out of them on the front.

I had Proxes 4 on the car when I purchased it, they lasted much longer but didnt have anywhere near the level of grip of the T1Rs.

They should bring back the T1S!

On the car forums iv been on, everyone seems to prefer either T1Rs or Eagle F1s, the F1s are meant to last much longer with the same level of grip as the T1R, so people have said they dont mind paying more for them.
I may be tempted to try them out, but I love the look of the T1Rs.
