What tyres did you get on your FR

got the eagle f1 gsd3 Goodyears on mine for about 10k now and they seem to be great!

Michelins on mine (18") and I think I'll replace with the same.

25k+ out of them but £30 more than GSD3s.

At the moment we have some chinese green slime ditchfinders that came with the audi replica wheels we bought from Wheelbase. Which to be fair are really not that bad, but plan to change them to VREDESTEIN ULTRAC SESSANTA which i had on the St which i found are brilliant very low road noise and brilliant grip in wet and dry.

I just put on 4 of the vredestein ultrac sessanta's at the weekend there

car feels detached from the road(initially i was blaming the scrub in period but done about 500 miles since then), so doing a bit of searching, seems these tyres run at high pressure..

Bridgeston RE050's on our FR TDi had the same RFT version on my 1er and found them very good in the dry good in the wet but not so good in cold weather.

But hey did seem to wear well as my Pirelli Euphoria's on another 1er were showing excessive wear at 7K and were even worse than the Bridgestone's in the wet.

Not that impressed with them and when I'm due new fronts will be getting something else

I've just ordered a pair of Hankook Ventus V12. For my FR Tdi with 18" rims. Anyone used these in the past? Seem to get good reviews online and not too bad price at around £100 on blackcircle (although I have managed to get for £66 trade price! )

I've managed to get 20k out of a pair of Michelin Pilot Exalto's (rears are still on with plenty left) which seem good but they are soooo noisy. The rears are moving to the front and the Hankooks will go on the rear.

I've been looking at these tyres as well I'd be interested to see what the Rim Protection is like on the Hankook as this is one good thing about the Dunlops
