Need some help with wheel alignment. Have now done wheel alignment in two different workshops. Still, the car is strange and very sensitive on the road. Feels very uneasy and at the back it is very unsteady at bumps on the road. In comfort mode it is worse but in cupra mode much better but not as it has been. Have tried to explain in the workshop but they say that it is so with the summer tires mounted. Have never been like this before I did wheel alignment. Is there anyone who can add some numbers using the picture? Should wheel alignment be done in comfort mode and in Cupra mode?

Do you have a KwikFit where you are? They have Hunter Hawkeye laser alignment. I went to a generic tyre place for alignment cuz my steering was off centre. It was still off so went to KwikFit who checked it and my toe was out. They fixed it. Went back to the other place for my money back.

Went to cupra and explained my situation regarding wheel alignment. But they couldn't and didn't have any settings to share for comparison.
Back to square one

There is a thing about the front and back wheel alignment. Conversation on the Tarraco side.

It's standard practice, well it's supposed to be, to have proper VAG laser alignment if changing tyres, but you can get away without if dead centre is set on the steering wheel. That's the solution to that one. Whether your friendly wheel place, does that pass. In the UK, we don't generally swap from summer to winter tyres twice a year, unless you live in the highlands or Snowdonia.

Tarraco side where the guy set about finding the recommended figures for that car. I chipped in as I recall. Worth a look, I recall we ended up with something useful. Think they got their figures off a Spanish site or found a resource - have a look.

Quick read they got it from Erwin

The importances of this alignment comes in with lane assist these days else the car may pull.... well that's the story why VAG equipment is specified. If the windscreen is changed, it's supposed to go off again to the authorised local VAG centre for realignment.

Yesterday was the day.Cant believe I fixed my car by Myself.Had 8 wheel alignments and couple of shop visits .Also had it in Cupra dealer for alignment.
Everything checked and aligned and still the car behaved like a snake on the road. Was very sensitive to road camber also. The slightest incline on the road I had to steer against with the steering wheel.
All of this is now gone. I can't believe it. I thank Obdeleven for this. The car is like new again. The steering wheel is perfectly centered and the car behaves like a new car again. The steering wheel is always in the right place regardless of the road. And the damping has improved on the shock absorbers.
What I did was reset the shock absorbers as they are electric ( Dcc ). What a difference it made. Even though the numbers didn't change that much.
The second thing I took a chance on and did was the Steering sensor. This put the steering wheel in the center and less sensitive to road camber.
I'm so happy and add this as a tip for those of you who think your Cupra is behaving strangely and have done wheel alignment.
Apparently the shock absorbers should always be reset after wheel alignment (Dcc)

No DCC in my original 2017 Ateca. DCC was a glint in the eye of Spanish sites that wanted to do Seat for class action since the letters were used in early publicity but not in the first production cars.
Doesnt all Cupra Ateca 2.0tsi have Dcc?

They didn't in 2016. 2.0TSI but not prefixed with Cupra. That got the more powerful engine. That came later.

I was just commenting on the history of DCC on the Ateca and it wasn't at launch and the Spanish purchaser base got miffed about the promotional material but as they say, subject to change. People had placed orders thinking they were going to get DCC on their cars but didn't.
