Wheel Fitment?

Hi was looking a set of wheels which are Front ET 65 and Rear are ET 52! Can anyone tell if these would fit or someone explain the whole ET thing?

What size engine is it? Petrol or diesel? I've got my eyes on Octavia VRS rims but have a slight mod to do before i change the wheels.
