I told her ours needed doing and her words were " I'll just give him a BJ to get you a good price" So i told her she will need more than one as some blokes on cupra.net wanted their wheels doing too  He is gonna come out and look at my wheels and give me a price to do them in his time off. Quite a few guys in this thread are local to me, so once i get mine done, you'd be welcome to come see the quality and decide for yourselves.

Mate this sounds very convenient! Keep us posted.

I'm only round the corner to you really being around Bromley way, so I'll definitely want to pop over and check out the quality of the finished product :)

Mine are booked in for the end of the month with WheelWorx's in colchester. It's not cheap though @ £280, this is a tire off refurb. Wouldnt mind finding somewhere cheaper if i could. hmm....

Hmm, almost £300 for refurbing wheels? At that sort of of price you cant not consider gettin a new set of alloys and putting your original tyres on them.

It had crossed my mind; it all depends on how much i can sell them for as I’d need the money to put towards another set of wheels. £280 does seem steep though, I’d much prefer it if it was £200, which seems about right to me. The quality of finish will be second to none though, the local Ferrari, Porsches garage uses them exclusively.

If i could find a buyer for them i would certainly consider it, unfortunately you cant sell stuff on her any more, only cars... which really doesn’t help matters.

Mate, cancel it perhaps and see what stuart_cupra's wheels turn out like. That's what I'm doing.

Got money going out left right and centre just not on the car at the moment :( so can't afford to pay near £300 for refurb anyway!

Funny you say, i've been thinking about cancelling it.

Got all sorts of idea's bouncing around in my head at the moment, i've got an X amount of money to spend over the next two months, then that's it for a while.

Im thinking £280 could be better spent else where on the car, ARB's, front / rear struts, 3" tip, Jetex cone, etc... Coilovers and brakes are a must, other than that i struggling to decide what to spend the rest on. :help:

3" TIP is a good one to squeeze more air mass out of her mate. I still need to log mine but I'm sure she's breathing like a dragon with this setup!

Jetex compliments it well and sounds lovely :) ARBs and struts are great buys tho! Your call mate!
