adjusted the gammer correction now.. brighter and cropped.
The wheels stick out of the wings dont they?

You said ....
"I'm running 7.5x16 with 20mm spacers on the front and 30mm spacers on the rear"

20mm per side front spacers and 30mm per side rear spacers.. Is that right? on ET36 rims in 7.5J x 16

Nice one Bill.

Yeah, 20mm per side front and 30mm per side on the rear.

They stick out a tad, but the tyres are stretched on so still inside the arch.

i havnt done any arch mods but im not sure if the previous owner did the rears as the metal inner arch 'lip' is tucked right round, most cars are like an 'L' shape inside the arch but mine looks like the arch has been rolled. or are all ibizas like this?

mk3 ibiza's are rolled edge compared to mk2's

9x17 on the rear is well phat.. stretched tyres tho..

I need to run 235 or 245 on my 8x17 for maximum tyre on the road for grip

mine are tiny by comparison... LOL
still want to retain my rear spacers tho for square track front/rear

There is absolutely no way you are going to get a 8x17 and a 235+ tyre in your arches without modding them (and be able to turn the steering / have some suspension), and its mid Dec....tick tock, tick tock

Ave it

Got my top mounts ordered now & springs (selection).. as blanks so I can choose how to fit em and what to set them to. :) Not overly confident in their sleeve nut if thats what Kev had on his.. Tick Tock indeed... EAK!

brakes to fit, actutor to setup and fit. ARGHHH..,

Tim had his 235's on his 8x17 rims (et35 mind you) and went ok.. I have 7mm less offset so will stick out further than him, and he ran no spacers on the rear.

I can feel me getting physical with the panels LOL

amazing these guys have got wide wheels and spaced out so much... they stick out, which aint good (or legal for c'ship) but it has surpised me.

was trawling thru some piccies on my puter, and found snookies motor.... how fecking wide are those arches!! :D :D :D  :rocker: :cheeky:

Yes tim has....but he also has no suspension......

At the ring, my wheels were rubbing on 205/45/16's on a ET27 7.5" rim !

kev's top mounts are not a good design IMO - and indeed the whole lot collapsed at curborough - the sleeve nut does not fit well enough IMO - should be easy enough for you to get some made with your machining fella

aye on the suspension travel point... got some springs in lengths to try, not too stiff from where I am currently. (broken rear spring anyhow when I did combe. prolly did'nt help brake balance and chassis stability.. OSR broken, NSF locking under braking.. maybe connected.)

Yea I am getting them as blanks too so I can choose what and where to drill them for desired fitting.. machining not going to be a problem for me. :D

you wont need to fit spacers on the rear if your running 9" at the back.

im running 8" front and 9" back and they are nice and level with each other.
8" dont catch on full lock or anything no problems at all with the offset i have (need to check what the offset is tho,l cos ive forgotten)

my arches have not been rolled at all but lowering more than 35mm could do with some mods as mine catches slightly with someone in the back

i went for the 8" rather than 7.5 as i wanted to keep the larger stickey out lip on the wheel. the thinner the rim the less lip you get on these euro style rims.

oh and my wheels wont fail MOT as they are perfectly level with the bodywork and the tyres (due to being stretched) are well in under the arch
