And i found the mk3 lights not very goodThat's because you are viewing the MK4 Leon forum, yours is a MK3 Leon and the headlights are very different (and yours are better).
Candle?
Jam jar?

Same with the adjustment on the MK 4 but I find the projectors don't seem as bright as the MK3 face lift lights, but yeah the original MK3 lights were really dull.I'm coming from MK3 seat and the MK4 led a much better. But needed to be adjusted as from factory they were too low
Some are definitely better than others, but you're right. Too often it appears they patently just can't be bothered.Glad you got it sorted, although the dealer's original response "that's just how it's supposed to be" demonstrates how much you should trust anything from a dealership.
I have the same issue.. I'm not convinced my dealer knows what is going on.. MY main beam is basically dipped, but brighter. I don't see any raising of the main beam as described. Does anyone know what I can tell my dealer to look for, or the most likely cause ?Hi All,
Just an update that I have taken it back to the dealer and re-brought up the issue which they have now acknowledged there is fault with the Headlights not raising (tilting up) when high beams are activated, and will be investigating this next week.
I'll let everyone know the outcome once they have formally diagnosed the issue.
Thank you everyone for all of your advice.
Hi, for me the problem was solved, I took it in for a problem with the roof not opening and the lights came back as they were, I think they just have to reset the ECU or something like that.
@Martineric96, did this get resolved? I have a MK4 Leon with the exact same issue and my dealer is struggling to resolve it. SEAT UK Chat has recommended a full diagnostic check.. I am waiting on this to be done - booked in end of Nov.Hi All,
