When were Silver LCRs first made?

Hi All,

When did the silver LCRs appear as all the ones I seem to be finding are around 2005.

Were any made before that or was the colour only released after that?

my LCR is was born in 2004 and is artic grey (silver) there is another shade of silver on later cars called lunar grey.................... but i don't think there is much difference between the two shades.

i personally don't think silver polishes up as well as other coloured LCRs but it also doesn't seem show up dirt as much as other colours do either.

Not only does it not show up dirt, it also hides scratches particularly well.

Black on the other hand....

Silver appeared on the 225 not the 210 so Autumn 2003 (53 plate onwards)

Mine is Lunar grey and I reckon it looks a bit bluer when the sun is on it - you can almost see this in my avatar. On a cr*p day like today it just looks normal silver.

you are defo right, thought i noticed this too...put it next to any other silver car and the LCR just looks damn sexy...kind of a mild pearl effect, others have noticed this too

Black....it's the new black....best when detailed (machine polished) Not for the faint hearted or those who don't like cleaning.

I'm out daily at the moment with the syrup (of figs) dusting it down and with the Ultimate Quik Detailer.......looks mega.....how long for though??????
