Which rear pads and discs?

I need to replace the rear discs and pads on the FR. Are there any uprated ones that are worth considering or shall I just nip down the local motor factors and buy some from there?

IMO the rear brakes hardly do any work, they just help to stabilise the car, I'd fit standard discs and pads unless you live on the race track.

Just had a quick look on euro car parts... There seem to be a selection of pads of various makes with and without wear sensors listed :S I assume that I don't have wear indicators?

Brembo rear discs and pagid pads do the treat.

Mintex pads and discs seem to come in at 46.21 inc delivery. Are they any good? Or more to the point are they any worse than oem?
