Hello everyone

On the verge of ordering an FR Tdi (18" + bluetooth). But which colour?

Local Dealer has offered me a Zenith Grey one (my preferred metallic) for September delivery or a Candy White one (my preferred solid) for estimated end October (factory order) for the same price to change.

Which one do you think I should go for? Like the idea of white but worried about resale values down the line.

I have the grey, it's gorgeous. The white is nice but.. I dunno, white is such a fad colour/flavour of the month.. and an absolutel bitch to keep clean!

Dont order White, us other Cany owners dont want too many others on the road :). I always get people gawping at mine. I

have always loved White cars so its a dream come true I have a car I love in a colour I love, it suits the car.

Zenith is also nice but the black parts on the car are really complemented by the white colour, it looks amazing. It does get dirty but I dont care, its just a car after all.

PS: Whenever I have seen a White Audi or GTI for sale they always seem to sell really fast, so I wouldnt worry about re-sale unless maybe you trade in the car, then the dealer will screw you over even more than they already do.

If you like to play things safe then go for the Zenith, you wont regret it I am sure.

I had a similar situation with mine in chrono yellow. I loved it, the missus did too but she was worried about what other people would think and the resale value.

Came to the conclusion that if you're spending £15k on a car it should be for YOU. Forget resale, forget other people's opinions. What's the point in spending that money if it's not perfect?

However, today when I was parked up at Birstall retail park a group of small children pointed at the car in a 'WOW, look at that' sort of way. Which is nice.... :)

Well, done the deed and its......

Zenith Grey. Yeah I know I bottled it a bit but it does look good in the grey and as I hadn't seen one in the metal in white I decided to air on the side of caution.

Get it early September.

They may have given a similar reaction if you had been driving a Fiat Panda with a Teletubby painted on the bonnet :D

Only joking...

Well done, I am sure you will love it. I have Candy White (Zenith was my 2nd choice) but I thought, ''what the hell, :censored:it''

I think the Zenith looks great but having to wait will be a nightmare, it was an 11 week wait for me (a nightmare).

Anyway good luck and hope you enjoy the car.

congratulations.

i'm sure you wont be disappointed no matter what the colour. silver was never an option for me as my other halves car is silver and i thought that would be too 'his and hers'.

i ordered white without having seen one, and i'm still to see another on the roads, or another cupra for that matter. in fact i think ill start a thread asking folk where all the candy white cars are.

the time will fly .

ps. its probably not too late too change you mind!!! and save £350!!! [B)]

Thats the situation I'm in

I have plans & I know they will make it look even sweeter than it already will OEM, but which colour

Keeping it clean wont be an issue, currently driving a black mk4, so anything else will be very easy to keep on top of.........

(secretly knows it will be white)

Thats true. I have a black car and you see the dirt just as much as on a white car, actually I think its worse on black.

I guess we all have our faves, its just down to personal choice isnt it ;)
