Love borbets and had a set on my Corrado, but they're a little small for a Leon's big arches.
As long as you like them though dude

I love borbets and was looking at some blue ones on eBay the other day thinking they would look good on the Leon, they do get swallowed by the arches which is a big shame as they could look good if they were bigger :(

I had them on alloys on my old pug 306 and there smart alloys but i think on the leon there nice but too small if they did them alot bigger then would look spot on...

Need to see it decked but even then I still think there will be to much of a gap in the arch.

Someone has to try these thing out otherwise trends wouldn't get started.

I really like the wheels, shame they're not a bit bigger. The arch gap (front mainly) looks the same as the gap from the floor to the skirts.

So closing the arch gap is going to... Danger Will Robinson!

I like the wheels, again, nearly bought the 18 set myself. Those wheels look too small, but more alarmingly, it looks like you have more room between your wheels and your arches than there is between the car and the floor. So you'll not be able to meet wheel and arch and therefore cant really boast a "euro" "slammed" "hellaflush" "squat" or "stance" or whatever it's called these days

I'm with the majority mate sorry...

I'm a huge euro fan, but the thing you've missed is that euro is no longer about fitting the smallest hoops you can.

I think if you wanted the borbet look, whilst keeping it fresh, I think you should look at a set of 3SDM .05's, 18x8.5 up front, 18x9.5 out back (what I plan to run on my LCR when I get round to wheels!)

On a car with huge arches, 18s are perfectly acceptable.

Another thing worth noting is Leons are famed for bringing the back wheel closer to the doors the lower you go, even if you can get it low enough, then you will have a ridiculous arch gap at the rear side of the wheel.

Just looked at 3SDM alloys they on are nice!!! I might have to change my options on alloys and get these.

As for air, I understand it for the show fairies, who just wanna look low at shows for scene points and photos, but in this case you'd still look silly whenever you were moving and had to raise it
