having a bit of a dilema, i have a set of 19's, and could fit them with a set of 20mm hub adaptors problem is it will put the wheels out to an offset of 25mm. i'm just wondering does anyone on here know what the max i can get away with on my FR+ tdi would be? they reckon anywhere from 35 - 45mm is the acceptable amounts. but i know alot of people on here space them out to clear caliper and fill the arches so i just want to hear what you guys are running and if you have any problems.... thanks in advance.

how wide are the wheels , as i have 8.5"x18" with a et 30 on a 225/40/18 tire fitted all round , no problems but the front wheels just sit pass the front arches and the back sit just on the arch and this will change over the next few weeks as i get round to fitting 10mm too the rear

Cheers Kenny

the wheels are 8 inches wide and have a set of 215-35 r 19 tyres.

now its all too confusing, but i might just buy the adapters and try them out, but its an expensive experiment at 100 quid a pair.

ET25 will sit way too far outside the arches and most likely fail an MOT like that (it would look daft too!). ET30 is probably the lowest you can get away with on a Leon. I run ET35 with no spacers and they sit right at the edge of the front arches.

this is 8,5J 19" ET 25:

Yours will be 5mm wider
