Why does my lcr tick like a clock?

If you undo the fuel cap and release the pressure the ticking will stop

Good read! So when "The canister goes unused until the car is turned off again", why does it tick? Iv notice mine ticking more frequently now and mpg dropping, looking into it but welcome to sugestions.
The vacuum to the inlet...block it off at the inlet
The electric conector, cut it off and bridgh the wire with a resistor (cant remember of the top of my head what ohm, 330 i think.)
And the thin pipe going to it is a breather from your fuel tank i believe i extended it and ran it down into the wing, just to keep it out of harms way!
That will remove it and not show up any codes on VagCom.
could you leave it mechanically plugged in like the n249 or would it flag up?
